The generosity and kindness of others never ceases to amaze me. Admittedly, this years fundraising has been a little slower, but I love the fact that even those people who didn't know Tony are donating to help us fight ALS.
I recently attended an Afternoon of Hope at the Arizona ALS Chapter office in Phoenix and though it was a solemn reminder of what the disease has taken, it is also an inspiration to see so many people all rallied behind giving whatever they can - either time or money - to defeat this cowardly disease.
I'm fortunate to be surround by great people here in Phoenix. Fellow runners and business owners who are gracious enough to give their time and resources to support the Hom 100 and the ALS Association of Arizona. I can't say enough good things about all these folks - I personally know each one of them and not only are they upstanding individuals, but they run their businesses with integrity and passion. Please take the time to thank them personally or give them your business if you have the chance.
Thanks to Dan Beaver and Mary Knott from
Cadence Running Company, Marc Cosmos from
iRun and Jamil & Nick Coury with
Aravaipa Running for your support and sincerity to help sponsor the Hom 100.
